Venue Salon Honored with Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM Recognition


Venue Salon is proud to announce its recent recognition by the
University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Florida-Friendly
LandscapingTM (FFL) Program for its commitment to sustainable landscaping and environmental
stewardship.

The Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM certification, awarded in the Commercial category,
recognizes landscapes that conserve water, reduce runoff of fertilizers and pesticides, and
support local wildlife habitats. Venue Salon’s eco-conscious outdoor space met the program’s
rigorous checklist of sustainable practices, earning an official FFL beautiful certificate of
achievement now proudly displayed on site.

From the outside in, Venue Salon is committed to lessening their carbon footprint as an organic
salon and spa, practicing sustainability both in its landscape and in daily operations. Inside,
guests will find a curated selection of Made-in-America products, support for local small
businesses, support of local philanthropy, and a team that proudly represents a woman-owned
and operated enterprise.

The Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM Program, developed by UF/IFAS, promotes sustainable
landscape practices across the state. Recognitions are offered in Home, Commercial, and New
Construction categories at Silver, Gold, and FFL Natural levels. The program helps Florida
communities protect water resources and local ecosystems by encouraging smarter landscaping
choices.
